I think this place is pretty fab. Given its location, I was very surprised by the size and the variety. This is a very large Asian Market, in fact so large, they have open aisle and I can actually maneuver through them without tripping on boxes like other Asian markets. I can find the snacks that I want as well as the sauces and noodles and dumplings that I desire. The prices are really decent too. I was delightfully surprised by the Bakery that they had in there. I seriously thought I would not be able to ever get Chinese buns near me (I just moved to NJ). Hurray! They also have an immense selection of asian produce and seafood which is just such a find! I'll be back, honestly because I have nowhere else nearby but also because it has everything I want!
This was my first visit to Asian Food Market. Not only does this place have a great variety of Asian food, spices, fruits & vegetables, but I was extremely impressed with the selection of fresh fish. It's insane how many times I've drove all over the place looking for fresh fish outside of the supermarket when this place was right up under my nose, This is definitely my new go to spot for vegetables and herbs. Thus trip to Asian Food Market also served as a learning experience; I had no idea there were so many variation of mushrooms & Bok Choy. I will definitely be back during my next grocery trip, while they don't have every thing I personally cook, I like the selection and will venture out to try new spices & Asian Vegetables.
This place was pretty cool. They had a pretty decent selection of things to choose from. They had the canned jackfruit that I've been hearing about for $1.99 and many many different teas to choose from. I'll definitely be shopping here more often. It looks like they are also remodeling the inside, but thankfully the store is still functioning and open. I really liked their produce section. I was able to find bean sprouts here that I wasn't able to find at another store. The frozen section was also pretty cool, a lot of different items and brands to choose from. The customers inside were also pretty diverse, I like that. It was a comfortable space inside as well.
Got my vegetables for the week. Asian food market never fails me when it comes to fresh veg. They have lots of varieties to choose from and the prices are reasonable.
Although this place could use an update, it's still my go-to spot. It's always got everything I need at reasonable prices. Any kind of fresh fish, any kind of fresh meat, and kind of noodles, they have it all! They even have a cooked food section and bakery. There's always a language barrier with staff though but they do try to help. And in case of emergency, let it remain an emergency because the bathroom is the pits!
